            "content_html": "<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.oleganza.com\">Oleg Andreev<\/a> sent me a couple of pictures of Paris experiments with pedestrian crossings marking:<\/p>\n<div class=\"e2-text-picture\">\n<img src=\"https:\/\/ilyabirman.net\/meanwhile\/pictures\/paris-marking-experiment-2.jpg\" width=\"768\" height=\"576\" alt=\"\" \/>\n<\/div>\n<p>Here’s a sign about the experiment:<\/p>\n<div class=\"e2-text-picture\">\n<img src=\"https:\/\/ilyabirman.net\/meanwhile\/pictures\/paris-marking-experiment-1.jpg\" width=\"768\" height=\"576\" alt=\"\" \/>\n<\/div>\n<p>I like the first approach, where the stripes turn 90° and the roles change: now the cars cross the pedestrians’ way, not the other way around. Also, the third design matches the London one. They don’t use “zebras” in London, just put the small dots on the egdes:<\/p>\n<div class=\"e2-text-picture\">\n<img src=\"https:\/\/ilyabirman.net\/meanwhile\/pictures\/london-ped-crossing-marking.jpg\" width=\"768\" height=\"512\" alt=\"\" \/>\n<\/div>\n<p>See also: photos from <a href=\"http:\/\/ilyabirman.net\/world\/netherlands\/\">The Netherlands<\/a>, where the new road markings are being tested on the highways.<\/p>\n",
