            "content_html": "<p>I’ve shown you the <a href=\"https:\/\/ilyabirman.net\/meanwhile\/all\/stockholm-metro\/\">Stockholm metro<\/a> in detail.<\/p>\n<p>But I’ve got a lot more from Stockholm. Today it’s the airport and the connection to the city.<\/p>\n<p>Arrivals:<\/p>\n<figure class=\"e2-text-picture\">\n  <img src=\"https:\/\/ilyabirman.net\/meanwhile\/pictures\/stockholm-airport-DSCF8522.jpg\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" alt=\"\" \/>\n<\/figure>\n<p>It’s a great idea to point to the next restroom in the narrow hallway:<\/p>\n<figure class=\"e2-text-picture\">\n  <img src=\"https:\/\/ilyabirman.net\/meanwhile\/pictures\/stockholm-airport-DSCF8526.jpg\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" alt=\"\" \/>\n<\/figure>\n<p>In the baggage claim area there is a nice advertisement for the express buses to the city:<\/p>\n<figure class=\"e2-text-picture\">\n  <img src=\"https:\/\/ilyabirman.net\/meanwhile\/pictures\/stockholm-airport-DSCF8527.jpg\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" alt=\"\" \/>\n<\/figure>\n<p>Swedish is white, English is yellow. Customs has two spaces:<\/p>\n<figure class=\"e2-text-picture\">\n  <img src=\"https:\/\/ilyabirman.net\/meanwhile\/pictures\/stockholm-airport-DSCF8528.jpg\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" alt=\"\" \/>\n<\/figure>\n<p>Passage to another terminal:<\/p>\n<figure class=\"e2-text-picture\">\n  <img src=\"https:\/\/ilyabirman.net\/meanwhile\/pictures\/stockholm-airport-DSCF8538.jpg\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" alt=\"\" \/>\n<\/figure>\n<p>Stairs to the boarding gates. Curiously, the arrows and exit numbers are yellow, not white:<\/p>\n<figure class=\"e2-text-picture\">\n  <img src=\"https:\/\/ilyabirman.net\/meanwhile\/pictures\/stockholm-airport-DSCF8540.jpg\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" alt=\"\" \/>\n<\/figure>\n<p>But I had to go to the city, and the express bus didn’t appeal to me. It turned out to be cheaper and more interesting to get there by regular transportation, not a dedicated airport service. Now the character points to the button from below:<\/p>\n<figure class=\"e2-text-picture\">\n  <img src=\"https:\/\/ilyabirman.net\/meanwhile\/pictures\/stockholm-airport-DSCF8571.jpg\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" alt=\"\" \/>\n<\/figure>\n<p>After three days in Stockholm, I went back to the airport — this time, on the very bus from the ad. It runs from the Central Station as well. I visited Stockholm in June, it was over 20° and sunny outside, so I was wearing a t-shirt. The five minutes that I spent on the stations between the trains made me almost freeze to death.<\/p>\n<p>The next station is Näckrosen:<\/p>\n<figure class=\"e2-text-picture\">\n  <img src=\"https:\/\/ilyabirman.net\/meanwhile\/pictures\/stockholm-metro-DSCF9272.jpg\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" alt=\"\" \/>\n<\/figure>\n<p>This station is all about the stones.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"e2-text-picture\">\n  <img src=\"https:\/\/ilyabirman.net\/meanwhile\/pictures\/stockholm-metro-DSCF9260.jpg\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" alt=\"\" \/>\n<\/figure>\n<p>On the one hand it’s beautiful. But when you come to Stockholm and go to the metro, what you see is this:<\/p>\n<figure class=\"e2-text-picture\">\n  <img src=\"https:\/\/ilyabirman.net\/meanwhile\/pictures\/stockholm-metro-DSCF8646.jpg\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" alt=\"\" \/>\n  <figcaption class=\"e2-text-caption\">Skanstull<\/figcaption>\n<\/figure>\n<p>Not all stations are fantastic, you must know where to go. I will get to the good ones, but will start with the other things.<\/p>\n<p>The station entrances are denoted with the letter T, because metro is a “tunnel road” (tunnelbana). I will show the airport and the central railway station later. They all use the same font, the Swedish text is always white and the English one is yellow. But on the metro, only the posters follow this style. Other elements are inconsistent in their design.<\/p>\n<p>Let’s get it. The letters on the display are gigantic. The stairways from the crossing streets run down in a form of an arc, uncovered.
