Train No. 13

Train No. 13 departs from Chelyabinsk to Moscow every day.

I’ve made a diagram of its route and schedule:

Train No. 13

The diagram uses the principle of parallelism to show the data from different angles.

On the left, a map shows the geographic path with stops, nearby cities, regional borders, time zones, rivers, and the travelers’ favorite sight — the bridge over Volga, almost a mile long.

In the center, the route is unfolded into a straight line, with the distances and the names of the railroad stations.

Finally, on the right, the timetable is shown with each station’s arrival and departure times, duration of stops, as well as cumulative travel time and distance.
