Bell for Mac
Bell rings at unpredictable intervals throughout the day. Each ring is a simple cue to pause and check in with yourself: notice your body and surroundings, return to the present moment. Bell adds itself into the system menu bar:
It sounds like this:
You can adjust everything:

Brief interruptions help you catch thoughts and actions that normally run on autopilot. With regular use, Bell provides a practical way to exercise attention and act with greater awareness.
After downloading
If you trust me, move Bell.app to /Applications, then open Terminal and run:
xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Bell.app
This command allows your Mac to run Bell and does not affect any other security features.
Without it, your Mac may claim that the app is “damaged” when you open it. This is how Apple pressures developers. Developers have to pay Apple for the privilege of distributing their free apps without these warnings. Developers don’t want their users to run into scary messages like this, so they end up paying.
I don’t support this kind of extortion.
