London Underground voice announcements: update

Following my original post with London Underground voice announcements, reader Yaroslav Eremenko and another reader who preferred anonymity have sent me several other recordings. Now I have announcements from the Northern line, which I did not have before.

A recording of a train operator explaining a delay with a red signal, the quality is very poor:

Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen... red signal... The train is now ready to depart... Mind the doors. Mind the closing doors... Mind the doors

Central line

This is Greenford. Please mind the gap between the train and the platform. Change here for National Rail

The next station is Northolt

District line

This is Sloane Square. This is a District line train to Upminster

Northern line

First, trains to Edgware:

The next station is Camden Town, Edgware branch

This station is Camden Town, Edgware branch. Change here for all stations to High Barnet and Mill Hill East from platform 3. This train terminates at Edgware. (Ladies and gentlemen, there is good service operating on all London Underground lines.)

Euston, both branches:

This station is Euston, Charing Cross branch. Change here for southbound Northern line service via Bank from platform 6, Victoria line and mainline intercity and suburban rail services. This train terminates at Edgware.

This station is Euston, Bank branch. Change here for southbound Northern line services via Charing Cross from platform 2, Victoria line and mainline intercity and suburban rail services. This train terminates at Morden via Bank.

More Bank branch to Morden. This one is at King’s Cross, the beginning is omitted:

Change here for Circle and Hammersmith, Metropolitan, Piccadilly and Victoria lines and mainline intercity, suburban and international rail services. This train terminates at Morden. Stand clear of the doors

This station is Old Street. Change here for (?) and mainline suburban rail services. This train terminates at Morden

This station is Moorgate. Change here for Circle & Hammersmith and Metropolitan lines and mainline suburban rail services. This train terminates at Morden

It is notable that on the Northern line, they say “this train terminates at S” instead of “this is a L line service / train to S”. I also like the expression “This train terminates at Morden via Bank” as a shorthand for “This is a Bank branch train and it terminates at Morden”.

Piccadilly line

Please mind the gap between the train and the platform. This is Hounslow West. Customers for Heathrow Terminal 4 should change here and wait on this platform for a train to Terminal 4. This is a Piccadilly line service to Heathrow Terminals 1, 2, 3 and 5

Victoria line

This is Victoria. Change here for Circle and District lines, National Rail services and Victoria coach station. This is a Victoria line train to Seven Sisters

National Rail

Our next station is South Greenford
